NordVPN Review 2026: Speed, Privacy and Price
By admin 1 min read
In this article
NordVPN is one of the most popular VPNs on the market. We used it daily for a month on a laptop, two phones, a tablet and a streaming stick to see whether it lives up to the hype.
Our verdict
NordVPN is fast, easy to use and backed by independent no-logs audits. It is not the cheapest option, but long plans bring the price down a lot.
Speed and performance
On a 500 Mbps connection we kept most of our speed on nearby servers:
Nearby server: about 90% of base speed
Transatlantic server: about 70% of base speed
Connection time: under 2 seconds on average
Streaming
Every major streaming service we tried worked on the first or second server we picked.
Pricing and current deals
Monthly billing is expensive. The 2-year plan is where the savings are, and it often comes with bonus months.
Up to 74% off 2-year plans + 3 extra months
Extra 15% off any 1- or 2-year plan
Expires Dec 7, 2026
Who should skip it
If you only need a VPN for a single device once in a while, a cheaper short plan or a free option may be enough.
